The finished photograph hides the work. The site remembers it. Structure, services, surfaces, joinery, light — each layer has to arrive in the right place, in the right sequence, and still leave room for the next decision. Good design is not only what survives in the final frame. It is what had to be solved before the camera arrived.

A 3D render shows intention. A finished space shows whether that intention survived reality. Between the two sit structure, site conditions, material availability, coordination, craftsmanship, and hundreds of decisions. The goal isn't to make the built space look like a render at any cost. It is to make the design work better in the real world.

We usually meet a building when it is finished. The walls are painted, the furniture is placed, the light is right.
