Sirf concrete vi****or chalana hi kaafi nahi hai — usse sahi technique aur duration ke saath use karna bhi equally important hai. 🏗️

Concrete vibration ka main purpose entrapped air ko remove karke concrete ko properly compact karna hai. Lekin unnecessary ya excessive vibration se concrete mix mein segregation aur bleeding ka risk badh sakta hai, especially jab mix/workability aur site conditions suitable na hon.

Why Cover Blocks Are Important in Slab & Column Casting? 🏗️ | RCC Construction Site Guide

Cover blocks may look small, but they play a very important role in RCC construction. 🏗️

During slab and column casting, properly placed cover blocks help maintain the required concrete cover over reinforcement steel, keeping the reinforcement in its designed position and providing protection against corrosion, moisture and fire exposure.

🔹 Why are cover blocks used in slabs?
• Maintain specified reinforcement cover
• Keep steel at the correct level during concreting
• Prevent reinforcement from touching shuttering
• Improve durability of RCC
• Help protect reinforcement from moisture and corrosion

Why HDPE Sheets Are Used Between Old & New Buildings? 🏗️💧

Why do we place an HDPE sheet between an old and new building? 🤔🏗️

It may look like a small construction detail, but it can play an important role in moisture and seepage control when constructing a new structure next to an existing building.

During construction, a significant amount of water may be used for curing the new RCC structure. When two buildings are directly adjoining each other, moisture can potentially reach the neighbouring/old structure.

An HDPE sheet can act as a waterproofing/moisture barrier, helping reduce the movement of curing water and moisture toward the adjoining building.
