👀 TRAIN YOUR DESIGNER EYE

Look at this room for 5 seconds.

Now look away.

What do you remember?

A good designer doesn’t just see a beautiful room. They notice:

💡 Lighting
🎨 Colour
🛋️ Furniture & layout
🪵 Materials & textures
✨ The little details

Your challenge: comment the first 5 things you noticed. 👇

Then ask yourself:
Why did your eye notice those things first?

Because design is not just about looking.

It’s about learning how to see.

🎓 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE STUDYING INTERIOR DESIGN

Thinking about becoming an interior designer?

Here are 5 truths I wish someone had told me earlier:

✏️ Drawing beautifully isn’t enough.
👥 You need to understand people.
📏 Measurements matter more than aesthetics.
📈 Your first design will probably be terrible — and that’s okay.
🧠 Your real superpower is problem-solving.

Interior design isn’t just about making spaces look beautiful.

It’s about understanding people, space, function, proportion and possibilities.

If you’re considering studying interior design, save this post.

And tell us 👇
What is the ONE thing you wish someone had told you before starting design school?

🚨 DESIGN CHALLENGE | EPISODE 12

FIND THE FLOOR PLAN MISTAKE! 👀

A designer made this floor plan… but there is ONE BIG PROBLEM.

Can you spot it?

Don’t just look at the rooms. Look at the design logic:

📐 Circulation
🚪 Door & window placement
🛋️ Furniture layout
☀️ Natural light & ventilation
🏠 Functional zoning

👇 Comment WHAT the mistake is — and WHY you think it’s a problem.

Don’t Google. Don’t overthink. Trust your designer’s eye.

🏆 The best explanation gets featured on SPACINX!

Because a great designer doesn’t just see what’s there.

They see what’s wrong.

🛋️ THE SOFA TEST!

You have ONE room. THREE sofas.
Which one would YOU choose — A, B or C? 👀

Don’t choose based on colour alone.

Look at:
📐 Scale & proportion
🚶 Circulation
⚖️ Visual balance
🛋️ Function & comfort

👇 Comment A, B or C and tell us WHY.

The interesting part isn’t getting the answer right.
It’s learning to see WHY one choice works better than another.

That’s how you start thinking like a designer.
