The first thing we created for Idliman was not a logo or a colour palette, it was a family. A bunch of playful mascots that represent literally everyone who loves idlis, from kids to grandparents, office rushers to lazy brunchers. These characters became the heart of the brand and the reason Idliman feels more like a neighbourhood personality than just a roadside food cart.

Once the family was in place, everything else followed. We built a bold, playful visual identity around South Indian street food culture, designed for a brand that sells idlis on the roadside but feels fresh, modern, and full of character. The goal was simple: make people stop, smile, and feel instantly connected.

Curvy, rounded typography inspired by South Indian scripts gave the brand its cultural soul, while green, orange, and yellow added that familiar desi energy without going over the top. Together, all these elements came together to create not just a brand, but a full idli universe that is warm, inclusive, and impossible to ignore.

Bloom () was always about botanicals and purple but for the rebrand, we decided to let it grow further.

Flowers don’t sit quietly here. They grow everywhere. Croissants bloom off branches, ingredients come alive, and nature slowly takes over the visuals. It’s indulgence meeting the natural world where everyday comfort is rooted in real, honest ingredients and a genuine love for all things botanical.

We kept the original softness, but dialled up the contrast. Deeper purples, bolder illustrations, and a visual system that doesn’t politely blend into the background. Bloom now feels more playful, distinctive, and unapologetically its own little world.

That world carries through everything you touch. Menus feel less like lists and more like objects you want to spend time with - layered, illustrated, and full of small moments of discovery. Even the coasters aren’t an afterthought; they become tiny canvases where the botanicals keep growing, right under your coffee cup.

Nothing feels overly precious or performative. Just familiar comforts, thoughtful details, and a space where good ingredients, good design, and a little bit of imagination quietly coexist.

With Bloom, we inherited something that worked—but didn’t quite speak to itself.
A cafe and cakery with good product, but no common language connecting the space, the packaging, or the brand.

Our job wasn’t to reinvent Bloom.
It was to help it find its voice.

We treated the process as a gentle evolution rather than a reset. The new identity is rooted in care—a 100% vegetarian, eggless bakery shaped by patience, warmth, and everyday rituals. The space was lightened, softened, and given room to breathe. Less noise. More clarity.

Botanical cues, muted greens, and soft lilacs quietly inform both the interiors and the visual system. Custom illustrations and tactile materials carry through every touchpoint, so everything feels considered—never added on.

A thoughtful rebuild.
A calmer expression.
Bloom, now speaking the same language.

As we step into a new year, we’re taking a moment to look back at one that kept us busy - in the best way.
Projects we loved, lessons we’ll carry forward, and ideas that pushed us a little further.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
Here’s to a year ahead with good work, better conversations, and plenty to be proud of.

Introducing .gelateria

As a design studio, we’re always chasing spaces that feel like something. Firenze was our attempt to bottle the gentleness of Florence ,then give it a Delhi heartbeat, with .guptaa ‘s gelato as the real story.
Watching it settle into the city exactly the way we hoped has been such a joy, and there’s so much more to come for this project.

You go up a skylit staircase and the mood shifts. The light softens, the pace slows.
The upper floor at .italiano was designed as a natural extension of the space below. The palette continues upward: warm lime-plastered walls, oak, brass, and textured upholstery that echo the language of the floor beneath.

Here, everything feels closer, cosier - light grazes the surfaces, a lemon painting catches the eye, and the atmosphere turns inward. The space then opens out into a balcony that extends the mood outward continuing the same palette, same rhythm. It’s warm, familiar, and just easy to be in.

The bar at .italiano captures the quiet poetry of Italian design - timeless, tactile, and effortlessly elegant. Deep green marble outlines warm oak panelling, while brass accents and amber lighting bathe the space in a golden, evening glow. Velvet, stone, and wood layer together with ease, creating a setting that feels both intimate and indulgent. A delicate scattering of hand-painted lemons becomes a playful accent in a space defined by restraint and warmth.
