🔹 Why World Day Against Child Labour is Celebrated
"Let’s build a future where every child learns, plays, and dreams — not works"
World Day Against Child Labour is celebrated every year on June 12 to:
1. Raise Awareness: Highlight the plight of millions of children around the world who are forced into child labour, often in dangerous and exploitative conditions.
2. Promote Action: Urge governments, organizations, and individuals to take concrete steps toward ending child labour through policy changes, education, and stronger enforcement of labour laws.
3. Support Education: Emphasize the importance of ensuring every child has access to free, quality education — a key factor in preventing child labour.
4. End Exploitation: Push for ethical supply chains and responsible business practices that don’t rely on child labour.
