Living spaces — Alappuzha, Kerala
A collection of contemporary living spaces rooted in the tropical landscape of Cherthala. The design combines Kerala’s traditional architectural character with a simple, modern vocabulary, using pitched terracotta roofs, earthy materials, generous openings and shaded balconies.
The buildings are carefully integrated with the context. Lush vegetation, water bodies and pedestrian pathways, creating a calm environment where architecture and landscape become one. The proposal focuses on slow living, natural ventilation, visual connection to nature and a strong sense of place.
