WE ARE HIRING — ARCHITECTS & INTERNS
We are looking for people who have conviction
People who want to understand natural buildings—not just draw them.
People who question, observe, think sensibly, and are willing to get their hands dirty.
At Earthen Studio, we work with earth, lime, stone, brick, timber and traditional building techniques.Learning here goes beyond a degree or a software skill.
If you want to learn how a wall breathes, how lime behaves, how materials respond to climate, how a building ages, and why traditional techniques work—you will learn by observing, doing, failing, correcting and doing it again.
We are looking for:
— Architects who can think beyond conventional construction.
— Interns who are genuinely curious and willing to learn.
— People with energy, initiative and spirit.
— Sensible thinkers who can understand context before proposing solutions.
— Those willing to spend time with materials, craftsmen and sites.
— People who want to develop craftsmanship, not just a portfolio.
Rest comes next.
Not because we believe in exhaustion—but because meaningful learning requires involvement, curiosity and commitment.
If your ambition is to merely complete your degree and get a job, this may not be the place.
But if you want to learn the techniques, work alongside craftsmen, understand natural materials and eventually become a master craftsman in your own right, you can begin that journey here.
A degree can teach you architecture.
Practice teaches you how to build.
If this speaks to you, send us your portfolio and a short note about why you want to learn natural building.
