Team BMSCA D&P is delighted to congratulate Ar. Yashaswini Sharma on being conferred the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Foundation State Award for her outstanding contribution to Cultural Heritage Conservation.

Yashaswini Sharma, is a practising Architect, Academician, Author and Researcher. She completed B.Arch from department of Architecture B.M.S.C.E during 1995-2000, and her M.Phil in Architectural Research from the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University (PRASADA-AHTG,W.S.A.), U.K. She is the author of the book
‘Bangalore: The Early City, AD 1537 - 1799; which traces the development of Bangalore/ Bengalüru city, focusing on the architecture and settlement pattern of its earliest urban area, the Pēté, and the oval Fort.

We take immense pride in celebrating the achievements of our distinguished alumna and extend our heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.
