Turning an eyesore into an oasis.

​When you pull into a community entrance, the last thing you want welcoming you is a concrete STP room right by the parking area. What was once just an uninspired patch of lawn over compacted construction rubble is now thriving into a dense, layered tropical screen.
​Through some serious digging, soil rejuvenation, and intentional planting, this space is transforming into a lush natural barrier.

​Plant highlights & layers:
​Screening canopy: Lady Palm (Rhapis excelsa) & lush tropical foliage to soften and obscure the utility structure.
​Foliage contrast: Striking Colocasia ‘Black Magic’ set against sculptural natural stone.

​Blooms & understory: Elegant spider lilies (Hymenocallis) with delicate white blooms, backed by vibrant yellow-orange Heliconia, warm accents, and a subtle touch of blue groundcover at the base.

​Two months in and braving the monsoon season, this green barrier is already doing what it was designed to do—turning hard infrastructure into a living, vibrant landscape.

A Birdwatcher’s Paradise Reborn

Designing with purpose. We transformed this garden from a space in total shambles into a vibrant, bird-friendly retreat for a wonderful middle-aged couple. Their brief was simple: they wanted to enjoy bird watching surrounded by incredibly lush, tropical foliage. Mission accomplished. Now, they have the perfect spot on the bench to sit with their morning coffee, listen to the birdcall, and enjoy the serene view of the stepping stones and the Buddha statue. Not a hint of the old garden remains—only beauty and peace.

Here is a snapshot of our elder carpenter guiding the next generation through a pergola build. We pride ourselves on being versatile landscapers—brick, stone, metal, and yes, the timeless craft of woodwork.

We know that here in Bangalore, many clients hesitate to invest in outdoor wood pergolas or gazebos, often worrying about maintenance, weathering, or termites. It's true that metal and composite are easier to maintain. Turning an awkward, narrow strip into a focal point.
This space was literally unusable and directly visible from the living room and backdoor.

Instead of leaving it empty, we designed and built a custom waterfall, carefully measuring every inch to fit the tight constraints. Our crew is hard at work here ensuring the structure is solid, so from the distance, it looks like a magnificent piece of visual art.

​Tucked between three towering buildings, this podium garden was thoughtfully designed as a low-maintenance, tropical sanctuary for a busy couple to unplug and recharge on Saturdays and Sundays.

​Design Highlights:

​Lush Ground Cover: Buffalo grass (shade grass) thrives effortlessly beneath the surrounding skyline, keeping the space vibrant year-round.

​Architectural Contrast: A structural podium beam was turned into a design feature, clad in rich black slate tiles to anchor the landscape and frame the view.

​The Living Room Outdoors: Natural stone pavers create a dedicated seating pad nestled among dense greenery—the ultimate spot for slow weekend mornings and evening unwinding.

Three months in, and this terrace transformation is coming to life!
​When designing and executing this landscape, our main challenge was tackling the harsh South-West exposure. We carefully curated heat-resilient species paired with custom-selected, modern planters to give the space a structured yet lush feel, delivering vibrant pops of color directly into the client's line of sight from the seating area.

​To keep maintenance effortless and ensure optimal plant health, we integrated an automated drip irrigation system. The wall creepers are steadily climbing and will soon create a full, blooming green backdrop across the trellis.
​Watching a landscape design settle in and evolve is always the best part of the job.
