The Chinese Fringe Flower plant is a thing of beauty to have & I was lucky enough to find it at my local nursery while it was in full bloom.
This plant loves acidic soil, hence you can add bone meal powder/rock phosphate powder or vermicompost to the top soil to maintain the soils acidity.
The new leaves are purple & turn into a deep burgundy once they mature hence it can tolerate direct sunlight and is also used as a hedging plant.
During its flowering period or otherwise a liquid feed can be given to it to keep the plant healthy.
Do not overwater or underwater this plant.

This beautiful scented rose greated me good morning today by opening up & giving away her sweet scent of love.
Roses do need maintenance & I'll list a few care tips that can be followed-
• Water the plant only during the day to avoid fungal growth on the stem.
• Dead head the flowers once they are done blooming & add a bit of turmeric powder where the cut is made to avoid infection on the plant.
• Use a clean pair of cutters or scissors to prune the plant.
• Donot let the soil dry out during summers & avoid overwatering.
• Add a layer of good quality Vermicompost on the top soil & fertilize the plant once in 2 weeks to encourage new growth & blooms.
• Get rid of any dead plant matter on the plant or on the top soil to avoid any sort of infection.
• Spray the plant with a neem based insecticide to keeps pests away.
• Rose's need full sunlight as they can tolerate it even during the summers, hence donot keep them in a shaded spot.

This here is a Egyptian Starcluster which is very commonly found in nurseries & comes in a variety of colors from white, pink, purple & reds.
It's known to attract butterflies as well as hummingbirds & it's a plant that can handle full sunlight since it's native to Africa & Yemen.
The Starcluster plant grows into a bush if given the right care & that involves providing it with sunlight & fertilizing it once in 6 weeks along with dead heading the flowers once they are done blooming to encourage more flowers.
This plant needs watering once the soil appears to be dry but over watering it is not recommended.

This here is a beautiful variety of palm very commonly called as Bamboo Palm & as the name suggests it's stem resembles exactly like a Bamboo.
If you ever get your hands on this specimen you must have it as it has a very sleek structure & needs the same attention as any other palm plant.
The soil in which the plant is needs to be moist at all times & never bone dry as that would delay the growth of the plant.
Provide the plant with a liquid fertilize once every month & the plant will do well.
This plant can grow under direct sunlight but then in that case the plant needs to be watered everyday. It will also do well in a location where the plant gets one or two hours of sunlight daily.

It is used widely in Korean folk medicine to treat coughs, colds & other respiratory ailments.

Dahlia's are quite resilient flowering plants and come in hundreds of varieties in shapes and colours.
It is an excellent addition to add to your garden to have an instant impact.
Since the roots are tuberous make sure to not over water them but under watering will dry them out, just make sure the soil is moist.

This vine is a native Indian medicinal plant called as "Giloy" and has innumerable benifits which has been used for ages in ayurveda.
Till yesterday I didn't know that a plant like this existed & since I love having plants that have beneficial properties I had to have this in my garden.
Since it's a vine it grows very vigorously so be careful where you plant it because it will take over.

Got this amazing Water Hyacinth from who was generous enough to give one plant to me from his garden.
This is a low maintenance water plant which will eventually spread out into the water container & they have a spectacular flower of which one petal resembles the feather of a peacock.
Make sure to change the water once a week to avoid breeding of mosquitoes in the water.

Today is World Environment Day & from my perspective I have done a good deed by giving a new home to discarded plants.
They say that One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure,that is exactly what happened today with me, I struck gold.
I found all these Amaryllis bulbs discarded by some person & they were just lieing on the side of the street so I took all those glorious bulbs put them in the back of the car & asked the gardener in my community to plant all of them in the common areas of the vicinity.
Very soon they are all gonna grow & hopefully this fall season they would bloom.

Found this "Greater Banded Hornet" lurking among my plants in the back garden. As beautiful as it might look it is best to stay away from them because they sting really bad & if they are in a swarm then you better run away,they are known to be deadly.
This guy was alone and I took a picture of it very carefully without disturbing it.
Nature is kind & cunning it's best to not interfere too much with her.

This here is a Toy Cypress which very much looks like a miniature version of a coniferous plant but it is actually a succulent.
I've had it for the past 2 weeks & in my experience this beauty wouldn't get easily disintegrated if too much water is put but doesn't mean u water it too much. Its quit a textural plant & a good addition to my succulent collection.
