Stop picking paint colors straight off a tiny paper chip! 🎨✨

​Ever wondered why a paint color that looked perfect in the store turns completely different once it’s on your wall? It all comes down to lighting, undertones, and sampling.

​Before you commit to gallons of paint, follow these 3 golden rules:

1. ​Test on real walls: Paint a 2x2 ft swatch or use sample boards. Never rely on digital screens or tiny swatches alone!

2. ​Watch the light shift: Check your swatches at 9 AM, 2 PM, and under your artificial warm/cool lights at night.

3. ​Match undertones: Warm neutrals (like Lost in Lisbon or Well Groomed Poodle) balance rich, earthy tones (like Baked Clay or Baked Terracotta) beautifully without clashing.
