At the recent Smart Office India Summit, our Managing Director, Deepu Shyam Prakash, joined the " Cost-Effective Excellence: Redefining Workplace Design within Budgets & Timelines " panel to tackle the two biggest constraints in design - Tight Budgets and Impossible Timelines.

The verdict? Constraints aren't roadblocks, they are catalysts for creativity. Along with fellow experts, he shared insights on how we are reimagining the office of tomorrow by balancing high-end quality with real-world pragmatism.

For Earth Day 2026, we are talking about design intelligence. We don't just "add" trees to a building. We use integrated data to ensure the building belongs there. By merging architecture, engineering, and landscape into a single ecosystem, we are building a future where we eliminate the concept of "waste" and treat each material as a precious resource.

Designing Aster MIMS Hospital, Kasaragod, wasn't just about clinical efficiency, it was an exercise in empathy. By stripping away the cold, institutional feel, we have created a healthcare facility for recovery and hope.

At its heart, the design is intentionally human-centric. The integration of intuitive wayfinding and soothing colour palettes ensures that the environment remains calming rather than overwhelming for patients, staff, and visitors. By prioritizing abundant natural light, biophilic landscapes, and a rhythmic play of light and shadow, we have created a space that breathes. The structural narrative is defined by a nuanced layering of natural illumination, where passive cooling strategies and an effortless indoor-outdoor transition serve as the primary drivers of the spatial experience.

Being entrusted with this project was both an immense responsibility and a profound honour for us. We are incredibly proud to have shaped a space where the Kasaragod community and nearby areas can find both world-class care and a sense of peace.
