Conceived for this 11,000 sq.ft luxury residence in Bangalore, the central atrium becomes the architectural heart of the home, a vertical volume that unifies movement, light, and experience across every level.

Natural stone, warm timber, sculpted metal, and expansive glazing establish a restrained material palette, allowing proportion and craftsmanship to take precedence.

The floating bridge, gallery walls, and cascading chandelier introduce rhythm and depth, while concealed lighting accentuates the geometry without disrupting its quiet elegance.

The interplay of solid and void defines the experience. Double-height volumes create a sense of openness, layered perspectives reveal the home gradually, and every transition is carefully choreographed to frame a new architectural moment.

Every detail, from the sculptural staircase to the custom wall installations, contributes to a composition where art, architecture, and materiality exist in complete harmony.

The result is a residence that feels expansive without excess, monumental without overwhelming, and timeless in its expression.

Designed by Atelier Astil, under the leadership of Principal Architect Arpita Sharma, this home reflects a design philosophy where architecture is experienced as a continuous journey, crafted through proportion, light, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

The Entry | Designed as the threshold to this luxury residence in Bangalore, the entrance lobby is conceived as a moment of pause, establishing the architectural language that unfolds throughout the home.

Rather than functioning as a transitional corridor, it becomes an immersive spatial experience where proportion, materiality, and light quietly define the first impression.

A sculptural stone console anchors the composition, while softly curved forms introduce a sense of fluidity against the precision of the linear architectural framework.

Bronze detailing, natural stone, textured wall finishes, and concealed illumination are layered with restraint, allowing each material to reveal its character without competing for attention.

The lighting is integrated as an architectural element rather than an accessory, tracing volumes, accentuating texture, and creating a gradual transition between shadow and light. Every reflection, every junction, and every proportion has been meticulously resolved to cultivate a sense of calm and permanence.

More than an entrance, the lift lobby becomes a spatial prelude, a carefully choreographed sequence that prepares the mind before the home reveals itself. It is an architecture of anticipation, where elegance is experienced through silence, precision, and the quiet confidence of enduring design.

Designed by Atelier Astil, under the vision of Principal Architect Arpita Sharma, this residence is an expression of architecture that transforms arrival into an experience, where every threshold is crafted with intention and every first impression is designed to endure.

The Walk-in Wardrobe

A wardrobe is not merely a place for storage. It is an architectural sequence that bridges the transition between personal ritual and private living.

Designed as part of this luxury residence in Bangalore, the walk-in wardrobe is conceived as a space where function is elevated through spatial clarity, material precision, and meticulous craftsmanship.

Every element has been carefully orchestrated to create a seamless experience, where movement through the space feels as intentional as the architecture itself.

The linear composition establishes a strong visual axis, drawing the eye toward natural light while reinforcing a sense of depth and symmetry.

Bronze-framed glass enclosures introduce transparency without compromising order, allowing the wardrobe to feel open, refined, and effortlessly organized.

Integrated lighting is concealed within the joinery, illuminating each shelf with precision and transforming storage into a carefully curated display.

The material palette is deliberately restrained. Soft timber finishes, warm metallic accents, reflective glazing, and subtle stone surfaces work together to create an atmosphere of understated luxury.

Designed by Atelier Astil, under the direction of Principal Architect Arpita Sharma, this residence embodies an architecture where every proportion is intentional, every material is authentic, and every space is crafted to enrich the experience of living.

There is a version of architecture in the city of Dubai that never makes it into the final photograph.

It is not the perfectly finished room, the carefully styled corner, or the moment when everything finally comes together.

It is what happens before that,  standing on site, looking at a detail from three different angles, asking why something feels slightly off, changing a decision that looked perfect on paper, discussing a material with the team, and sometimes simply standing there for a moment trying to understand what the space is asking for.

Led by Principal Architect Arpita Sharma, the process moves constantly between the larger vision and the smallest detail. A conversation with the site engineer can change a dimension. A material sample can change an entire direction. A question from the design team can lead to a better solution. And sometimes, the most important decisions happen in the middle of an ordinary conversation.

There is a certain rhythm to a site when a project is truly coming together. Conversations overlap, questions lead to new ideas, decisions happen in passing, and every voice has a part in moving the work forward. A small glimpse into the conversations and moments that quietly shape the spaces we create.

Because this is what architecture sounds like before it becomes architecture.
It is not always quiet.
It is not always perfect.
And it certainly is not always predictable.

But somewhere within all that movement, a vision slowly becomes something tangible.
At Atelier Astil, we believe the finished space is only the visible part of the story. The real story is everything that happens to get there.

A home is remembered not by its individual rooms, but by the journey they create together.

Designed for a luxury residence, the entrance and living room unfold as a single architectural narrative, where every threshold is composed to reveal the next layer of space.

The entrance is anchored by a monumental pivot door, framed by warm timber, sculpted stone, and finely detailed metal inlays that introduce a sense of permanence from the very first step.

Beyond it, the living room expands into a generous double-height volume, where natural light, layered textures, and carefully balanced proportions create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and monumental.

Every material has been selected for its authenticity. Timber introduces warmth, natural stone lends permanence, soft furnishings temper the architectural precision, and concealed lighting quietly articulates form rather than drawing attention to itself.

The continuity of materials and the disciplined architectural language allow each space to flow effortlessly into the next, creating a home that feels composed rather than decorated. Here, luxury is experienced through proportion, craftsmanship, and the quiet confidence of timeless design.

Designed by Atelier Astil, under the vision of Principal Architect Arpita Sharma, this residence reflects a philosophy where architecture is crafted as a sequence of meaningful experiences, where every arrival sets the tone, every space has purpose, and every detail contributes to an enduring sense of home.

Not every workspace belongs behind the doors of a corporate tower. Sometimes, the most meaningful work begins in the quietest corner of home.

Within this luxury residence in Bangalore, the private office is seamlessly integrated into the master suite, conceived as an extension of the bedroom rather than a separate destination.

It preserves the intimacy of personal living while providing the focus needed for moments of deep thought, planning, and creation.

Soft natural textures, sculpted forms, and warm architectural lighting replace the visual noise typically associated with workspaces. The fluted stone desk anchors the room with understated elegance, while mirrored surfaces expand the perception of space without compromising privacy.

Delicately patterned wall panels, curated shelving, and muted materials create an atmosphere where concentration feels effortless and calm becomes part of the workflow.

Luxury today is no longer defined by excess. It is measured by the ability of a home to support every aspect of modern living without sacrificing comfort or beauty.

In this residence, work is not separated from life, it is gently woven into it.

This Uber Luxury Living room is not designed around furniture. It is designed around the life that unfolds between it.

In this luxury residence in Bangalore, the living room is conceived as an architectural landscape where permanence and movement coexist.

A monolithic stone wall anchors the space, establishing a sense of gravity, while expansive glazing invites daylight to become an active material, constantly reshaping texture, shadow, and atmosphere throughout the day.

The composition is guided by contrast rather than complexity. Sculptural seating softens the precision of the architecture. Rich leather, tactile fabrics, and expressive natural stone introduce warmth against a restrained structural framework.

Every material is chosen not to compete for attention, but to contribute to a quiet architectural rhythm.

The fireplace extends beyond its functional role, becoming a continuous horizontal datum that visually grounds the room and reinforces a sense of proportion. Layered lighting reveals depth rather than brightness, allowing surfaces to transition gently from one material to the next. The result is a space that feels composed, balanced, and remarkably calm.

The living room becomes more than a place to gather. It becomes a space that slows time, frames everyday rituals, and demonstrates how architecture can shape not only the way we inhabit a home, but the way we experience it.

Designed by Atelier Astil, under the leadership of Principal Architect Arpita Sharma, this residence reflects a design philosophy where timeless luxury is achieved through precision, craftsmanship, and an enduring dialogue between architecture, light, and human experience.

A bathroom is rarely thought of as architecture.

More often, it is reduced to fixtures, finishes, and functionality. Yet some of the most intimate experiences of a home begin and end here.

It is where architecture is encountered without distraction.

For this residence, the bathroom was envisioned as a composition of material, light, and proportion. The architecture relies on restraint rather than excess.

Large-format stone establishes visual continuity, while fluted textures introduce rhythm without interrupting the calmness of the space. Every junction, reveal, and edge is carefully resolved, allowing the architecture to speak through precision instead of ornament.

Natural light filters through the glazed enclosure, changing the perception of the stone throughout the day. Warm concealed lighting softens the material palette after sunset, creating a different spatial experience without altering the architecture itself.

Luxury is often associated with what is added. Here, it is defined by what has been carefully removed, visual noise, unnecessary complexity, and competing materials. What remains is a space where craftsmanship, proportion, and materiality become the primary experience.

Designed by , under the leadership of Principal Architect , this bathroom reflects a philosophy where architecture is not simply seen, but quietly experienced through light, detail, and enduring material expression.
