on. His Grandfather Mr. Char was a renowned structural engineer of his times, who served as Sir MV’s consultant also where required. His father,
Mr. V.R.Krishnaswamy, was also a Grad-I-Struct-E from London, who did several reputed projects in Bengaluru. Raghunath started his career under Mr. Sundaram, a world renowned structural engineer from Bangalore. He moved to the Middle-east in 1976, where he worked for VEB-MLK BL organization where he headed the R&D division, shuttling between Middle-east and Germany, and worked on several prestigious projects, like Trade centers, Ruler’s palace etc. and specialized in advanced methods of building systems. He returned to India for good in 1992, in order to serve the country with his experience. Prashanth (Partner):
R. Prashanth, (Mr. Raghunath’s son) is an architect and specialized in Building Technology from TU Delft, The Netherlands. He has joined his Father as a partner in the company. Previously he was working as a Senior Façade designer at VS-A in Hong Kong for 6 years, working on wind analysis of several skyscrapers in China, and provide solutions for complex geometry in architecture. Prior to working as a Façade designer, he was a research assistant at TU Delft for developing flexible moulds for producing double curved precast panels. He has returned back to India with the aim of taking forward the family business legacy to the next level.
