Here is some useful points
(Don’t forget to follow)

* Create a Focal Point: Every room needs a star. This could be a fireplace, a large window, a piece of art, or a striking piece of furniture like a bold-colored sofa. Arrange all other furniture around this focal point to create a cohesive and inviting space.
* Don’t Push Furniture Against the Walls: This is a common mistake. Pulling your furniture a few inches away from the walls (or even floating it in the middle of the room) creates “breathing room” that can make the space feel larger and more intentional.
* Layer Your Lighting: Relying on a single overhead light can make a room feel flat. Use a combination of sources—like floor lamps, table lamps, and accent lighting—to create a warm, layered, and functional atmosphere.
* Mix Textures and Patterns: A room with all smooth surfaces can feel one-dimensional. Add depth and interest by incorporating different textures through materials like wood, metal, velvet, wool, and linen. Similarly, mix different patterns in your pillows, rugs, or drapes to avoid a boring or overly coordinated look.
* Measure Everything: Before you buy, measure the room, the doorways, and even the hallways to ensure your new furniture can actually get inside. Use painter’s tape to outline the furniture’s footprint on the floor to visualize how it will fit.
* Remember the Rule of Three: When grouping objects, use odd numbers. Groups of three, five, or seven are generally more pleasing to the eye than even numbers.
