A retreat shaped by rain, where water becomes the language of space—experienced through mist, sound, reflection, and touch. Inspired by Yakushima’s relentless rainfall, the architecture is conceived as a quiet receiver of the island’s climate, allowing water in its many states to define atmosphere and experience.

An elevated, meandering approach draws you gently through the forest, revealing the villa as a subtle intervention within its context. Here, luxury is not material excess, but a sensorial immersion—an intimate connection with landscape, weather, and time, where every moment is shaped by the presence of water.

Tulsi Manch repurposed from a disused Ram Leela stage to a 14000 sq ft of leveled assembly space that can be used for events as well as exhibition purposes. Existing terrain of the space is graded to create a multipurpose foreground space with enhanced access to the existing admin block designed by B.V. Doshi.
