Neil Motherway Tree Care draws inspiration from ancient Ireland to shape strong, natural landscapes for today. We work with nature — not against it — to create gardens that are safe, balanced, and built to thrive in Ireland’s wild seasons. 🌿

Now that’s what you call a head for heights! 🌳

A bird’s-eye view from one of the latest jobs for Neil Motherway Tree Care, with the team working high in the canopy to safely dismantle this towering tree section by section.

It takes skill, experience, precision and nerves of steel to work at this height, especially with buildings and gardens below.

Just another day at the office for Neil and the team… but definitely not your average office! 🌳🪢

Not a job for the faint-hearted 🌳

There are some days at Neil Motherway Tree Care when the office comes with a very different view.

High above the ground, with little more than ropes, specialist equipment, experience and a very steady head, the team works methodically through a tree that most of us would think twice about simply standing beneath.

Tree work on this scale is about far more than cutting branches. It takes careful planning, skill, strength and an understanding of how a tree will respond at every stage of the job. Each section has to be dealt with safely and under control, particularly when working close to buildings, gardens and other trees.

These pictures may have been taken from a long way down - but perhaps that only adds to the perspective. Look closely and you can see just how small the climber appears against the height of the tree.

For Neil and the team, it’s another day’s work.

For the rest of us, it’s a pretty impressive reminder of the skill involved in professional tree care. 🌳🪢
