Suirside are pleased to announce the commencement of Cell & Prisoner Processing Upgrade Works at Thurles Garda Station, Co. Tipperary.

This project involves the refurbishment and upgrade of existing facilities, including improvements to prisoner processing areas, cell accommodation, associated building services and external works. The development will enhance the functionality, safety and operational efficiency of this important public facility.

We are proud to be working alongside the Office of Public Works, the Design Team and all project stakeholders in delivering these upgrade works and look forward to progressing the project over the coming months.

We are delighted to announce that Suirside has commenced works on a significant multi-million euro educational development at CBS New Ross, Co. Wexford.

This exciting new two-storey extension will deliver modern state-of-the-art educational facilities including:
• Home Economics Room
• Technical Graphics Room
• SET Room
• Four New Classrooms
• Ancillary Spaces & Associated Site Works

The development will also include upgrades to the existing building, improved access works, alterations to the school grounds and the installation of new PV panels as part of the project.

This major investment represents another important step in supporting the continued growth of CBS New Ross and will provide enhanced learning facilities for students and staff for many years to come.

Suirside is proud to be delivering another key educational project in the South East and we look forward to working closely with the Client, Design Team and School community throughout the duration of the works.

We’re delighted to see strong progress on our Presentation National School project, which commenced in mid-December 2025 in Waterford City. 👏🏼 🌧️

Despite the miserable January/ February weather, our team has successfully brought the project to concrete footing stage — a great achievement and a testament to the hard work and commitment on site.

It’s also great to see one of our completed projects of Walsh Park from 2023 visible in the background — a reminder of the quality standards we consistently aim to deliver.

🎭 ✅ Project Completion – Just in Time for Christmas 🎄

We were delighted to reach handover on the new Watergate Urban Park just ahead of the Christmas period for our clients Kilkenny County Council.

This project involved the delivery of a high-quality external performance space that will enhance the theatre’s offering and provide a flexible venue for outdoor events, performances, and community use throughout the year.

A big thank you to the design team of PLACE+U, MPA Consulting Engineers & Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers and our own site crew for their collaboration throughout the project.

We’re proud to play our part in supporting cultural infrastructure here in Kilkenny and look forward to seeing the space in use.
