We will be having a Books DVD And Cds fundraising event on 21st December in the Waterford shopping centre with all donations going to the Jubilee clock. After our very successful Toy appeal last year. No Child without a toy we are appealing for Donations again this year. Toys Books And DVDs can be left in our Storage box in Francis Court opposite St Pauls primary school
Thanks again for your continued support.

How do I sum up the past 4 weeks?
A rollercoaster.
It’s wild thinking that being a medical tourist was one of the best decisions of my life so far.

The decision to take the plunge and go abroad was based on the heartbreaking stories I’d heard from women on their gross lack of treatment, care, compassion and botched surgeries here in Ireland 😔

The feedback I’d heard from other women about their care in Athens seemed almost too good to be true

BUT

After 22 years of pain, I know that it wasn’t just a bad period.
I have the (exceptionally neat and tiny 😉) scars and the histopathology report to prove it. I can’t express just how priceless that is. To know that you were right to trust your gut and it’s not all in your head.

The validation is overwhelming.

I’m so excited to get back into the talks and workshops this year and to get back to work.
I have to constantly remind myself to slow down, that I’m still healing 😅 I have my energy levels back, the chronic fatigue is GONE and it’s all thanks to .konstantinoskyriakopoulos , his team and the lovely Marina.

It’s really s**t that we, as women, have to fight so incredibly hard and shout so loud to be heard and believed. Fu***ng hell even just being shown a morsel of compassion doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for does it? Something so many healthcare providers seem inept to provide here in Ireland.

In short. You know your body better than anyone and I’m always here to answer any questions if I can.

Thank you for your kind messages and encouragement these past few weeks. The Internet can be a lovely place at times.

🕰️Wednesday 15 October in Central Library, Lady Lane in Waterford City from 5pm – 6:30pm with Clothes Drop Off from 11am onwards. This is a FREE Event and all are welcome.

👗Come along and upgrade your wardrobe! Step away from fast fashion and exchange your clothes for something new to you!

Details:
• Bring up to five pieces of clean adult clothing (in good repair) to the library, between 11am and 5pm and swap then for a voucher for the same number of pieces.
• The Swap opens from 5pm where you can browse the donated pieces and find out more about mending and bringing new life to your clothes.

Also on the night there will be a Clothes Upcycling Demo.

Our Fill A Bus Food Drive returns on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, and this year we’re inviting local companies and workplaces to join the campaign!

All you need to do is start collecting non-perishable food items with your team — we’ll arrive with our festive Bus Éireann bus on the day to collect everything you’ve gathered.

Your support will help us deliver over 1,000 Christmas food parcels to families across Waterford. 💛
