This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll work across commercial and community retrofit projects — from initial client engagement and energy assessments through to grant applications, procurement, and project handover.

As we close out a fantastic year at Encon, we’re proud to mark an exciting milestone — the completion of our site setup for the flagship commercial retrofit of the Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny.

This landmark project represents a significant step in upgrading an iconic public building to meet SEAI’s new energy efficiency standards, ensuring long-term sustainability while preserving its cultural importance.

We’re delighted to be delivering this project in partnership with Kilkenny County Council and Bluett & O’Donoghue Architects. We look forward to progressing operational works in the months ahead.

Projects like this highlight what can be achieved through strong collaboration, technical expertise, and a shared commitment to decarbonising Ireland’s built environment.

A fitting way to end a remarkable year for the Encon team.
