Putting up a nest box for Barn Owls here at Churchview today. Over the past 10 years I have planted about 300 trees and established a small woodland. The nest box is about 14 foot off the ground facing open farmland and about 150 meters from the nearest building and 300 meters away from any roads. Hopefully we will have success. Barn Owls are relatively rare but I have seen some in the area over the past few years.

PLANT A TREE WITH ME…..

Hi folks I am delighted to be involved in a local charitable cause to provide an all weather Astroturf facility at our local GAA club (Gaelic football) Maghera Mac Finns.
I have a large number of native tree varieties, oak, birch, alder, wild cherry, mountain ash and Whitethorn

To celebrate my 100th parkrun. I will be planting a tree at my woodland here at Churchview. I will also give away a free native birch tree to one lucky person who LIKES & SHARES this post. Winner will be selected next Friday and tree will be available next Saturday. If winner wishes I can plant the tree here in our native woodland instead. Thanks for sharing David.

I am posting this from my Ramor Landscaping page but it’s more of a personal note. I want to thank everyone who has been there for me in any way throughout 2025. This includes family, friends, the pickleball and running community, Co-workers customers and everyone else in my community. This wide network nourishes and supports me in so many different ways. I consider myself truly blessed to have the life that I’ve been given and my only wish for 2026 is to be have the opportunity to continue my journey…………❤️

We picked this Buzzard up on the way home from work one evening. She appears to have a damaged wing. Contacted a local wildlife rescue service who have taken her in. The wing is not broken but bruised hopefully she will make a full recovery.
