Buying a two-wheel tractor is a strategic move for small-scale farms under five acres, for garden centres, and for landscapers.
It offers the performance of a full-sized tractor with significantly lower running costs.
• All-Round Versatility: One engine powers a vast array of implements, including tillers, flail mowers, rotary ploughs, furrowers, and wood chippers.
• Cost Efficiency/Effectiveness: A full setup costs a fraction of a compact four-wheel tractor. You make great savings on fuel and maintenance since they are simpler, lighter machines.
• Soil Health: Their light body weight reduces soil compaction, preserving long-term fertility compared to heavy machinery.
• Manoeuvrability: With a tight turning radius and adjustable handlebars, they excel in greenhouses, polytunnels, narrow garden beds, and sloped terrain where larger tractors cannot fit.
• Logistics: Their compact size allows for convenient storage and transport in a pickup or large SUV.
