Breffni Group under Site Manager Declan Lyons are progressing well with our latest Demolition & Enabling Works project at the former Fegans Café at the junction of Chancery St. / St. Michan’s St., Dublin. This is a typically challenging city centre environment requiring close liaison with such stakeholders as Keolis Amey LUAS, Dublin City Council, TII, Purcell & Vision Contracting in particular. The project requires temporary works to ensure the protection and stability of the adjacent ‘Fishmarket’ Wall and Hughes Pub during demolition and subsequent construction works. In addition Archaeological Investigation and Recording was undertaken as the works progressed.

Another year, another trip to the Ploughing Championship what made this year particularly special was having three generations of the family together, enjoying one of the great fixtures of the Irish calendar. The Ploughing has a great way of bringing together family, friends, farming, business, and plenty of good conversation, food and the odd beverage and it’s a tradition we’re very happy to keep going. Three generations, one annual tradition… and already looking forward to the next one.

Breffni Group are progressing with the construction of a new logistics office building for our Client, Aramex. We have completed the piled foundations, ground beams and sub-floor slab and the associated incorporated services. The external siteworks including kerbing and footpaths, drainage, fencing and site boundary / public road interface works are being advanced in parallel.

Breffni Group are delighted to be involved in the demolition of 25-28 and 29-31 Adelaide Rd., opposite the Eye and Ear Hospital Dublin, on behalf of our Client Westlink Capital.

We have just completed soft strip and asbestos removal and we are now starting hard demolition works.

A big shout out to the entire team and we will provide further updates with action photos in due course.

Breffni Group were delighted to work alongside GMC in supporting Uisce Éireann with essential works on a critical watermain supplying Dublin City.
Over the recent bank holiday weekend, a section of the 1600mm watermain between Ballymore Eustace and Saggart was successfully removed and replaced. Breffni Group provided plant, labour engineers & Logistical resources throughout the works, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of the project.
We are pleased to have played our part in what was a well-coordinated and successful operation, with the works completed safely and on schedule.
A great effort from everyone involved, and we look forward to supporting the reinstatement works as the project progresses.

A recent project completed on behalf of our client,Uisce Éireann, using our remote-controlled robogreen mower to safely maintain challenging terrain around essential water infrastructure. By combining innovative equipment with experienced operators, we can access difficult areas while reducing risk, improving productivity, and delivering a high-quality finish with minimal environmental impact. A great example of how modern vegetation management solutions are helping protect and maintain Ireland's critical infrastructure.

The Breffni Group restoration team have been hard at work giving our ‘08 Isuzu the full body makeover treatment – a nip here, a tuck there, some fillers and a full re-spray. Congratulations to Kenny Conlon and his team, we look forward to the Isuzu giving us many more years of service.
