We are delighted to share that CORD Architects is featured in the special Architecture Awards 2026 edition of BUILD.

Following our recent success at the BUILD Architecture Awards, where CORD Architects received two awards, our Director, Shane Colreavy, was interviewed for the special awards edition, discussing CORD Architects, our approach to architecture and some of the work behind the practice.

It’s the small details that matter.

Good architecture is often found in the quieter moments - where proportion, materiality and detailing come together to create something considered.

This contemporary chimney cap is a simple intervention, but one that adds a crisp architectural finish to the roofline while complementing the clean lines and material palette of the dwelling.

For us, it’s about ensuring that every element, however small, has been designed with purpose.

Really enjoyed attending today’s CPD event with Ecological Building Systems 'Low Carbon Solutions in Action' at the MSLETB Energy Build Centre of Excellence in Sligo.

A well-delivered, informative and hands-on session, with lots of practical takeaways. We’re fortunate to have such a fantastic facility in Sligo by Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board for events like these, bringing together professionals from across the industry.
