JOIN THE TEAM AT McGRATH QUARRIES 👷

We’re looking for an organised, proactive Shipper / Dispatcher to join our team at McGrath Quarries in O'Callaghan's Mills, Tulla, Co. Clare.

This is a busy and varied role at the heart of our day-to-day deliveries, working with customers and coordinating activity to help keep everything running smoothly.

What will the role involve?

• Taking orders and responding to sales enquiries from customers and potential customers
• Coordinating all deliveries and shipping
• Daily management of deliveries, ensuring there is a sufficient supply of required materials
• Liaising with the maintenance team to ensure necessary routine and non-routine maintenance is carried out

We’re looking for someone with good attention to detail, excellent organisational and multitasking skills, a good phone manner and strong customer service skills.

You should also have good IT skills and a positive, proactive approach to your work.

Previous experience in a busy shipping or dispatch environment would be beneficial, while knowledge of quarry products would be a distinct advantage.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

McGrath Concrete is a well-established and leading supplier of high-quality construction products throughout Ireland.

We are currently looking for a Shipper / Dispatcher to join the team at McGrath Quarries in O'Callaghan's Mills, Tulla, Co. Clare.

The role will include:

• Taking orders and responding to sales enquiries from customers and potential customers
• Coordinating all deliveries and shipping
• Daily management of deliveries, ensuring there is a sufficient supply of required materials
• Liaising with the maintenance team to ensure all necessary routine and non-routine maintenance is carried out

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working in a busy shipping/dispatch environment *(training will be provided)*
• Have good attention to detail, be highly organised and an excellent multitasker
• Have a good phone manner and strong customer service skills
• Have a positive and proactive approach
• Have good IT skills
• Have a good knowledge of quarry products – this would be a distinct advantage

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
