Gardens of Arduinna Hi, my name is Alice, I grow local flowers in Naas. I am passionate about nature and growing from seeds using permaculture principles.

I am growing local flowers in Rathangan and Naas and sell flower arrangements exclusively made with my production. I am passionate about nature, gardening and growing sustainably. I start the majority of my flowers from seeds and am using permaculture principles. My flowers are grown without harmful chemicals and support a wide range of pollinators and wildlife locally. I do not only grow for myself, since part of my flowers will never be harvested, but rather benefit the wildlife visiting my gardens all year around. I compost all my plant waste and utilise as much as possible organic intrants in the garden. I also support Irish businesses who sell quality products to the farming community.

In this video, I am arranging an autumn wreath using foliage and flowers grown here in Naas, including seed heads, berries and autumn blooms.

On October 16th, I will host an Autumn wreath making workshop at McAuley Place Naas

It will be a relaxing, hands‑on workshop where you will learn how to build a wreath from scratch and leave with a beautiful piece you made yourself.

A lovely bouquet I made for an expectant mum. A little wish of good luck from her colleagues with this a pesticide-free, chemical-free bouquet.

The arrangement is built around the dahlias now blooming here in Naas.

An autumnal Sunday arrangements with Dahlia, cosmos and fallen apples.

I kept the design simple so the dahlias could shine, adding a few light stems around them for balance.

I am arranging a white monochrome bouquet made with a selection of blooms currently in season.
The flowers featured in this arrangement are delphinium, scabiosa and feverfew.

Feeling grateful for the raindrops! The ground is so dry that it started to crack in places.

I made a few jam jars for a friend who loved lilies.

I am posting the pictures and amazing review Carol M. sent me following the workshop in last Saturday.

‘I’m just back from a workshop with the brilliant and knowledgeable Alice from Gardens of Arduinna and my Fitbit thinks I’ve taken a nap, heart rate lowered and completely relaxed. Flowers as therapy for the win! Three hours of knowledge sharing about local flowers, colour theory, composition and floristry techniques and then the most beautiful blooms to play with. No need for gloves because every flower is pesticide free. Couldn’t recommend the great company and wise advice of Alice more highly. Loved it.’
