We are proud to support another five eager employees, as they begin a fantastic adventure of a 2 year, Level 6, Horticultural Apprenticeship with Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture, National Botanic Gardens .

This marks our 4th year of the programme, reflecting our ongoing commitment to investing in people and developing future horticultural talent.

Wishing our apprentices every success as they embark on this valuable learning journey.

We’re delighted to welcome William O'Doherty to SAP Landscapes in the newly developed role of Business Systems Manager.

William will oversee how our business systems, data, and processes work together, with a clear focus on streamlining workflows, improving integration, and automating manual tasks. His work will help deliver faster, more reliable reporting so teams across the business can make better-informed decisions.

William brings extensive experience in business systems and operations, with a proven track record of improving processes in fast-moving service environments.

His expertise includes identifying inefficiencies, optimising systems, and implementing technology solutions across multiple geographies, having worked with businesses in Ireland, the UK, the USA, and Australia.

We’re excited to have William on board and look forward to working with him as drive our business forward.

What Are You Reading?

Not a question you expect from a leading commercial landscape and maintenance company! However, it was a question posed to our teams last month by our internal Employee Engagement Specialist.

Amongst many great reviews, there was one stood out, that we wanted to share.

Janice Leonard, our ESG & Business Lead, is reading Light Eaters by Zoe Schlanger at the moment. An eye-opening, thought-provoking, and beautifully written narrative science book about plants.

"Beyond being an all-around good read, The Light Eaters explores the profound and often overlooked capabilities of plants, inviting readers into a world where plants are not just background elements but active participants in Earth’s ecosystem".

One for the plant lovers out there - incase you, yourself, are looking for your next great read.

With many of us just over the half way mark of the school holidays - we can be forgiven for it starting to feel a bit lllooonnggg.

At Landscapes we truly believe one of the best things kids can do is play outdoors in nature, and have fun, and it’s also why @ has been our nominated charity for 2 years running, as we believe in children (big & small) having fun!

Since 1994, Barretstown has been supporting children and families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses, helping them have proper childhood moments full of fun, laughter, and care. Their work is made possible thanks to donations and fundraising from people and communities like ours.

So let SAP Landscapes spread some more fun, and put up for grabs a family fun day, for you, to put in the calendar with your kids.
