Leading provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), grid connections, and electrical substations across Europe. We provide comprehensive specialist services to industry and construction for Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of transmission and distribution networks. The company management is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace that will protect the wellbeing of employees and clients alike. Over the last number of years H&MV have become vastly experienced in the design and build of 110kV, 38kV and 20kV substations. We have a wide range of expertise in site electrical infrastructure and Sub-Station connection in renewables, data centres, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals throughout Ireland and the UK. With our understanding of Grid codes and HV interface requirements we are able to guide our clients through the grid connection process. H&MV will procure HV equipment and cable from approved suppliers to the specification required by Eirgrid and ESB. With our highly dedicated and trained engineers we design, install and commission substations to required grid standards. Thumper

Project Milestone | Monvallet 110 kV Substation Energised

We are proud to announce the successful energisation of the Monvallet 110 kV single bay tail-fed substation in Louth, Ireland.

This significant project involved:

โšกThe design and construction of Drumcamill 110 kV Substation

โšกDelivery of a new 110 kV grid route

โšกInstallation of the site earth grid

โšกDelivery and installation of HV primary equipment, including a 195 MVA transformer

โšกInstallation and termination of HV, LV, control and fibre-optic cabling throughout the substation

โšกComprehensive testing, commissioning and energisation activities in close coordination with ESB Networks, EirGrid and project stakeholders

A fantastic achievement and a testament to the expertise, commitment and collaboration of everyone involved in bringing this critical infrastructure safely to energisation.

This weekend, all eyes turn to Tipperary as two teams battle it out for the Senior Hurling Championship title.

The new main substation in Nรธrre Alslev, Falster, marks an important milestone as the first of 15 transformer substations being delivered for NEXEL/Cerius to strengthen and future-proof Denmarkโ€™s electricity grid.

We are delighted to hand over the first completed substation to NEXEL/Cerius. Our collaboration has been positive and constructive, with a shared focus on delivering substations that are reliable, efficient and easy to operate and maintain for decades to come. With the first station now complete, the foundation is in place to accelerate delivery across the wider programme.

The new facility replaces a single 10 MVA transformer with two 40 MVA transformers, significantly increasing capacity to meet growing electricity demand and support continued electrification.

With further substations already progressing across the programme, the ambition is to have the first seven operational by the end of 2027.

A significant step forward in delivering the resilient energy infrastructure needed to power the transition to a more electrified future.
