Thanks to Aeneas and Tracy for asking us to make this fab staircase in their new home... Materials used are always a priority to achieve a superb finish...Tulipwood for the strings as softwood should be avoided when introducing a hardwood step like oak...might be cheaper but will eventually pull and distort...so avoid ....birch ply on the risers making all the difference as this is a vital component to prevent shrinking causing squeaking and movement on the steps...fab finish, thanks to pat kiely for the blood sweat and tears with the installation..😃😂😂...thanks again guys 🙂💯

A fabulous finish, thanks john and niamh and pat kiely with the installation...The concrete staircase was too steep so we changed the going and built one that is now in regs and is now a much safer staircase to walk...Be mindful of concrete staircases 🙄🙄🙄oak ,tulipwood and birch ply with a metal spindles finish..Tricky build and fit out but worth the time to get it right..thanks again guys...
