An urgent appeal has been launched to help find 34-year-old Irish man Tommy O’Neill, who has been missing in Ibiza for more than two weeks.
Tommy was last seen on May 13 at the Amistat Hostel in San Antonio. His family and friends have not heard from him since, prompting growing concern for his welfare and the filing of a missing person report.
His family is asking anyone who may have met or seen him, particularly solo travellers who were in the area, to come forward with any information. Tommy is described as six feet tall with dark brown curly hair.
In a social media appeal, his brother said the family is deeply worried, adding that Tommy has experienced a recent decline in his mental health and may be especially vulnerable, potentially appearing confused or behaving out of character.
The family has urged anyone who recalls seeing someone matching his description anywhere on the island since May 13 to get in touch, stressing that even the smallest piece of information could prove vital in helping locate him. They have also appealed for the message to be widely shared to increase awareness among residents and visitors in Ibiza.
A spokesperson for Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance to the family. However, the department said it does not comment on the details of individual consular cases.
The search for Tommy continues as his loved ones seek answers and appeal to the public for help in tracing his whereabouts.
