A big congratulations to Joe O’Brien of T-Bourke’s, who was recently awarded a Safety Voucher on the NCW Garda Station project. Joe stood out for leading by example through excellent PPE compliance, a strong work ethic, and the vast knowledge he brings to site every day. Having worked across the globe from Canada to Gaza and many places in between, Joe’s experience, stories, and positive attitude make him a valued member of the team.

Our team at the Knockrabo project in Dublin welcomed the Lighthouse Charity to site for an important session focused on mental health and wellbeing within the construction industry. The talk was extremely well received by everyone on site, with great engagement and very positive feedback throughout the session. Open and honest conversations like these are incredibly important in helping to raise awareness, encourage support, and promote positive mental health across our industry.

Good progress on the Merlin Park project with the completion of the external rendering and removal of scaffolding. External works continue apace with kerbing, paving, footpaths and soft landscaping. The internal fit-out continues to push ahead with finishes such as flooring, joinery, M&E, fitted furniture, etc. progressing in all areas of the building.

Safety is built through the actions and attitudes demonstrated on site every day, and this week we are recognising team members who have gone above and beyond in maintaining high standards across our projects.

A well-deserved safety recognition voucher was presented to Ivo Ozolins for his consistent efforts in helping keep site safe, organised and running smoothly, at Dublin Bus project.

At Shannon Block Y&Z, Barry Lynch presented safety awards to Mike Madden of Willis Steel and John Finucane of Crowley’s Plant Hire in recognition of their excellent PPE compliance and for using the correct equipment safely and responsibly.

At NCW Garda Station, Michael Dunworth of T-Bourke was recognised for his excellent PPE compliance, positive attitude and for consistently leading by example on site.

Progress continues at our Greenpark Apartments project in Limerick, with strong momentum across all areas of the build.

Block A has reached another milestone with the 3rd floor screed now poured, while Block B is advancing steadily with 2nd floor blockwork ongoing. M&E 1st fix works are progressing well across both blocks, alongside continued works to the substation structure.
