Many thanks to our TY students from the Abbey Vocational School, Kane Porter, Rory Given and Darren Given, who were a great help during the week. We hope you enjoyed your time with us and learned a little of what we do. Many thanks also to Adrian Maguire and Luke Given for showing the lads the ropes.
We didn't get a trip over to Gola Island in the background but will definitely be back in the Summer for a team building day out.
We are truly blessed in this County with the scenery. Never take it for granted and get out there and enjoy it.

To show our support for Joe Coyle & Thomas Given who will leave Mountcharles Pier at 4am Fri, we will post a live video as they set out for Downings on a 100 Km walk in just 24 hrs. They will arrive at 4am
on Sat at Downings Pier. The Walk is to encourage men 45+ to get their prostate checked. This can be done from a normal blood sample.

Massive congratulations to our Son Luke Given on passing his driving test on his first attempt. Luke is coming into the business and is currently on phase 3 of his 4 year Security apprenticeship. We have his DGL Security van ready to go so he will soon be out and about doing calls. Proud day for the DGL Security family.

Hi All,
With all the recent power cuts most backup batteries to alarm systems will be completly flat at this stage. This can cause problems when the power is eventually restored. Some keypads will not accept the user code to switch off the alarm sounders. A new backup battery may be required. If you know of anyone who has this trouble please let them know that we are here to help, even if it is not our system. If you need any help or advice plesae contact Thomas on 0873888178 anytime. We at DGL Security are delighted to say that we are adding to our team. We are looking for a full time Security technician. Applicants should have a full driving licence, a good work ethic, good at working as part of a team and have a friendly demeanor with customers. Experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided. An electrical background is an advantage. Security apprentices can also apply as you can transfer your apprenticeship to DGL Security.
