Next stage of the floor restoration process in .pub , the parlour room floor, needed a lot of "love" , we repaired some boards , and re secured the rest of the floorboards, before a big sanding job, gap filling, walnut stain , then coated with a matt lacquer complete with 2k hardness and anti-slip R10 for the many pints that will un-doubtedly be spilt on it in the near future!

Welcoming the new lagler flip diamond tipped "dots" to the Smaointe Team, tested it out today on a tough aluminium oxide type hard varnish , was wasting alot of sanding discs until I brought this bad boy out, could be a great sand paper saver going forward and is the perfect transition between the agressivness of the milling disc and 24 grit. Very impressed!!

Getting there on this stairs .pub , had to drop back to 24 grit wuth the lagler flip to try and Level this old pitch pine which still has sap oozing out of it after all these years !

Spot the difference!!
Progressing well on this old pitch pine staircase in .pub , getting rid of years of old varnish and stain and darkening it back with a fresh walnut stain, and matt varnish finish.
Be lovely when its all finished next week!
