We visited St. Senan's Primary School last Tuesday presenting one of the many projects crafted by Woodwebs in conjunction with the school completion programme in Kilrush Community School.
This time around, the team - carpenter Chris, project worker Brian and secondary school students James and Jim crafted 4 bookshelves from white teal which was sourced from a local provider here in West Clare. The construction of the shelves involved very detailed and precise work, cutting the wood to the specified dimensions, sanding, priming and painting the units Lilac and Rose Pink, leading to a colourful and flawless finish.
Thank you to all the staff and students who helped especially to Leona Ryan - KCS project coordinator, and Sarah Keogh - KCS project worker, Eileen McMahon - Principal of Kilrush Community School and Avril Bolton - Principal of St Senans Primary School.
We look forward to working with everyone again on the next project and are excited to see what the future holds for this collaboration π
