Ducon Concrete Ltd are seeking motivated and reliable General Operatives to join our growing team. The successful candidates will assist with the production, handling, and movement of concrete products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the manufacture and finishing of concrete products.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Prepare and clean work areas and equipment.
• Load and unload materials and products.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Carry out general yard and housekeeping duties.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or quarry environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Manual handling and forklift certification would be an advantage.

Ducon Concrete Ltd were delighted to design, manufacture, and install these precision-engineered precast concrete columns for a new precast frame in Rathcoole, Dublin.

We are looking for a 360 Excavator Driver to join our team at our facility in Kanturk. Reporting directly to the Quarry Manager, you will play a key role in extraction and site maintenance.

Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday
• Full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a 360 Excavator for extraction, stockpiling, and loading aggregates.
• Perform daily pre-start safety checks and routine machine maintenance.
• Support the Quarry Manager in day-to-day site organization.
• Ensure all work is carried out Safely and meet site protocols.
Requirements:
• Experience: Previous 360 Excavator experience is an advantage but not essential; we are happy to provide training for the right candidate.
• Skills: Experience with other machinery (e.g., dumpers or loading shovels) is a plus.
• Qualifications: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and a recognized 360 Excavator ticket (CSCS/QSCS) are required.
• Attributes: Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player.
