I am a qualified Furniture & Cabinet Maker and I moved to the beautiful island of Inis Oírr (Aran Islands, Co. I have been working with wood in some way since I left school in 2001 and hope to continue to do so for many years to come. I studied cabinet making and furniture restoration for 3 years at Moulton College, Northamptonshire, England where my passion for wood work was ignited. In 2009 I bo

ught my first lathe and have slowly been putting together my own workshop. Much of my inspiration especially when turning comes from the wood itself with its colour, shape and contours. The rest of the time it would come from an idea in mind or discussions with customers and designing with them their unique one of a kind piece whether it's a vase, piece of furniture or a jewellery box.
