Paddy recently visited Nicholas & James O’Connor at Spring farm to take a look at their new Alfco Farm Services Ltd Drafting System and new Condon Engineering Crush setup in the yard. Saving time, improving cow flow and making handling easier, that’s what a good yard setup is all about.
James spoke through the setup and how a well-planned handling area can help with safer stock movement, less hassle and smoother day-to-day management on the farm.

🐄 Calves learning fast on their new Feeder!!

A new DeLaval CF1100 Calf Feeder set up this week for Michael Osborne in Carnew, with the first group of calves getting the hang of it from day one.

When calves start right, everything runs easier — and this system is already cutting out hours of mixing and manual feeding.

Set up properly. Calves trained correctly. Farmer confident from the start.
