A closer look at a recently supplied Thermia system.👀

This setup features a 16kW Thermia air-to-water heat pump paired with a Midi indoor unit and a 500-litre hot water cylinder.

The 16kW unit provides the heating capacity required for larger properties or homes with higher heat demands, while the 500-litre cylinder offers substantial hot water storage for busy households.

One of the advantages of the Thermia Midi unit is that it brings many of the key system components together into a compact indoor solution, helping to simplify installation and create a neat plant room layout.🙌

Now that the installation is complete, it’s time for the clean-up, final checks, and walking the homeowner through their new system. 🙌

From explaining the controls and settings to making sure everything is running as it should, the handover is an important part of every successful retrofit.

A closer look at this Thermia setup👀

This install includes a Thermia 16kW outdoor unit paired with a Midi indoor unit and 300 litre cylinder, giving the property a high-capacity heating and hot water solution designed for efficient year-round performance.

The larger 300 litre cylinder allows for strong domestic hot water storage, while the Midi unit helps create a compact and tidy internal setup with all key components integrated neatly indoors.⚙️

A closer look at where it all begins!👀

We were invited to visit the Thermia Värmepumpar factory in Sweden this year, bringing along a group of our clients and installers who work with the systems we supply.🙌

Our trip started in the small town of Arvika, where Thermia was founded. With over 100 years of innovation behind them, it was great to learn more about the history of the brand and the vision of its founder.

We were welcomed by Hans and Ulf from Thermia, who guided us through the Thermia museum before a full day of insightful presentations and a tour of the factory itself. It was impressive to see how much of each unit is still carefully assembled and wired by hand.⚙️

We also visited one of their projects — a restored mill turned home, now powered by a large-scale heat pump system designed to meet the demands of the property.

And of course, plenty of time for catching up, sharing ideas, and a bit of team bonding along the way!😉😄
