SuperValu Hansfield showcases the combined expertise of our Roadsurfacing & Contracting and Paving & Walling business units, delivering a fully integrated solution for this busy commercial development.

From durable asphalt surfacing to premium granite paving, kerbing and tactile paving, the project demonstrates how multiple Kilsaran business units work together to create attractive, safe and long-lasting public spaces.

Our Roadsurfacing & Contracting business unit supplied a 60mm AC20 binder course which was installed beneath a 40mm SMA10 PMB surface course, while also using RAP materials and our Thermaphalt Warm Mix Technology, achieving up to 25% lower co2 emissions.

Also supplied by our Paving and Walling business unit was our Newgrange Block in Black and Silver Granite, Tactile Blister flags in Buff, Tara Kebs in Silver Granite and Newgrange Cobbles in Silver Granite, showcasing how the right materials can elevate every project.

By combining expertise across both business units, we were able to provide a seamless, end-to-end solution that met the project’s performance, sustainability, and design requirements.

We’re proud to showcase our latest case study on The Carriage Works, a landmark residential development in North Wall, Dublin 1, delivered by

The project comprises more than 700 apartments across seven buildings ranging from 9 to 18 storeys, making it one of the most significant residential schemes in the city.

The Carriageworks demonstrates the value of a true construction partnership. Working closely with John Paul Construction, we provided a full suite of construction solutions, supporting the project from design through to completion.

Including:

✅ Precast concrete structural solutions: Hollowcore, Solid Walls, Twin Walls, Stairs & Landing, Colums, Beams, Flooring

✅ Approximately 30,000m³ of ready-mix concrete supplied through our Dublin network, including deliveries by electric concrete trucks

✅ Aggregates and approximately 25,000 concrete blocks

✅ KPRO façade and mortar solutions, including 6,000m² of external wall insulation systems and coloured masonry mortars

✅ Paving, walling and integrated streetscape solutions for the public realm

✅ End-to-end support spanning manufacturing, supply, installation and public realm delivery

By bringing these capabilities together, we helped reduce interfaces, support parallel working and maintain programme certainty throughout the lifecycle of this major city-centre development.

The finishing layer that brings the project to life, providing a bright contemporary aesthetic, enhanced water repellency and long-term resistance to dirt and weathering for a lower-maintenance façade.

A major milestone reached this week at ‘s Montrose development on the former RTÉ site in Donnybrook, with the first podium slab now successfully completed.

Kilsaran was proud to supply Kwik RC Frames with Ready-Mix Concrete for this significant phase of works, delivering approximately 1000m³ of concrete.

This landmark residential development will deliver 510 new apartments upon completion, helping to meet the growing demand for housing in Dublin.

Well done to everyone involved in delivering this milestone safely, efficiently and to programme. We look forward to supporting the project as it continues to progress.
