Chimney Rebuild & Leak Repair

We were contacted by a customer in Dublin 8 experiencing water ingress around their chimney. Following a full inspection, we found that the existing brickwork had significantly deteriorated and sections of the chimney had previously been constructed incorrectly.

To provide a proper long-term solution, we carefully dismantled the defective section and rebuilt the chimney with new brickwork. We then removed the surrounding roof tiles and installed approximately 1 metre of heavy-duty industrial breathable roofing membrane around the chimney.

The tiles were reinstated and new lead flashings and aprons were professionally fitted around the complete chimney. The top was also re-flaunched and sealed around the chimney pots.

All works were completed to ensure the chimney and surrounding roof are fully weatherproof and watertight.
