Mercury scales delivery across Europe with opening of €25 million Offsite Manufacturing Facility in Schöenebeck, Germany

This state-of-the-art facility will guarantee predictability and efficiency for our clients, from the centre of Europe. Spanning 13,000 square metres of production space, it’s a strategic investment in our footprint, enabled by our world-class design and engineering hub in Dublin, where over 400 professionals drive innovation and precision across every project.

Last week, we proudly marked the opening with a special event, attended by local business and government representatives and Mercury senior management.

We’re proud to celebrate the 32 graduates who have completed Mercury’s 2024–26 Graduate Programme and are growing into the future leaders of our business.

Having completed 18 months of training and structured development, the ceremony provided an opportunity for this group to present their final projects to members of Mercury’s Leadership Team.

Mercury proudly completes handover of landmark 76MW Paris Digital Park campus to Digital Realty.

We recently hosted a special event in Paris to bring together our team, key supply chain partners and valued client Digital Realty’s French team, to mark the completion of this state-of-the-art visionary campus.

The campus consists of 4 data centres, making up a total 76MW IT capacity. Powered by 100% renewable energy, the campus is also ISO 50001 certified. Our team’s unmatched scalability, trusted supply chain partnerships and local knowledge on the ground was on full display in delivering Digital Realty’s vision.

Mercury is proud to celebrate a major achievement in the delivery of Digital Realty’s Paris Digital Park campus, as we near completion on PAR11 -the final facility in this visionary data centre development.

Last month, we hosted a milestone event, which brought together our incredible Mercury team, contractors, suppliers, and the Digital Realty team in France to recognise the collaboration, innovation, and dedication that have powered this ambitious project forward.

Together we’re delivering a facility that comprises of:
✅4 data centres (PAR8–PAR11)
✅76MW IT capacity
✅39,000m² white space
✅100% renewable energy
✅ DLC-ready IT spaces for AI/HPC deployment
✅Certified to ISO 50001
✅A new 7,500m² public park for La Courneuve

Delivering this technically advanced campus, that supports innovation, and the evolving demands of AI has been a true team effort and a shining example of what’s possible when vision meets ex*****on.

Mercury completes delivery of GTR’s GB One data centre project in London.

Mercury has proudly completed the delivery of the GB One data centre for Global Technical Realty in Slough, London.

Located in London’s premier data centre hub, the facility has a total data capacity of 40.5 MW, across 16,119 m2, which is split into three data halls. As general contractor, Mercury’s team were responsible for all elements of CSA delivery and MEP fitout works as well as Major Capital Plant design and procurement on the project. Work commenced on the project in Q4 2022, with the full 40.5MW handed over by Q4 2024. The three phases of the project were handed over in 10 months.

All power is sourced from providers supplying 100% renewable energy using natural resources, to ensure carbon free facilities. Mercury’s design team played a pivotal role in overseeing the coordination of the design and vendor selection processes on the project.

Conor Carty, Business Unit Lead for Mercury’s Enterprise Data Centres business unit commented, “We proudly recently handed over the GB One data centre project, an innovative and leading-edge facility, to Global Technical Realty. Working with the GTR team on this project has been a fantastic, collaborative experience. I’d like to thank our team who showcased exceptional expertise, and lived by Mercury’s WorkSafe, HomeSafe ethos and high standards at every phase.
