Showcasing the K Club Hotel Extension, Straffan, Kildare

We’re proud to share the successful completion of a standout project at the iconic Hotel, a luxurious 5-star resort best known for hosting the Ryder Cup and celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2016, the same year this landmark extension was completed.

Working alongside .B.McNamaraConstruction we delivered the full design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke architectural mouldings and an external wall insulation (EWI) system, helping to bring the new Liffey Wing to life, adding 79 new bedrooms, a Thai restaurant, the Media Puzzle Bar, and a conference centre.

Our goal: ensure the extension blended seamlessly with the original structure, a mock 19th-century French château. Every moulding was precisely replicated and manufactured off-site, then installed with care on site. This attention to detail was key to delivering a visually cohesive and high-performance finish within a tight 24-week programme.

We partnered with and used their Ceretherm 60 EWI system, featuring:

Category 1 impact resistance
Silicone render matched exactly to the original façade
160mm HD insulation (wire-cut for unique detailing on lower ground)
150mm graphite-enhanced insulation on upper levels
A U-value of 0.21, meeting modern performance standards

Over 1,600 sqm of façade was completed in just 12 weeks, on time and within budget. Huge thanks to Kilsaran for their product expertise and support throughout, a brilliant collaboration showcasing what’s possible with modern methods of construction and heritage-driven design.

Showcasing NUIG Campus, Galway

SFP Group is proud to share the completion of another standout project, this time at the Campus in Galway, originally completed in 2013 and now recognised for its innovative and sustainable design.

We partnered with to deliver the external rendering, using high-performance systems supplied by . The result is a clean, modern, and durable finish that aligns with the forward-thinking architecture of the university.

The NUIG campus is home to several architecturally significant buildings, including the Hardiman Research Building, opened in 2013 and designed by in collaboration with Architecture and Urbanism. It's an excellent example of the high design standards that define this campus, and we’re proud to contribute to that legacy.

Working alongside JJ Rhatigan, our team ensured smooth delivery with precision and attention to detail. Thanks to Kilsaran’s reliable render systems, we achieved the high-performance, long-lasting finish that defines our work.

Showcaseing: Bunratty Walk

Bunratty Walk is a Dublin City Council social housing development completed in 2023 in Dublin 17.

The scheme comprises 64 modern one- and two-bedroom apartments across four four-storey blocks, along with 14 three-bedroom two-storey houses, designed to meet the evolving needs of urban living.

Designed by Architects, Bunratty Walk was built to Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB) standards. Each home features A2 BER ratings, with triple-glazed windows, high-performance insulation, and energy-efficient Exhaust Air Heat Pumps.

Our team completed the internal wall rendering package, delivering high-quality finishes that enhance the overall living environment.

This project reflects commitment to high-quality, sustainable housing that blends seamlessly into established neighbourhoods.

Springvale Grove is a social housing development completed in late 2023 in Chapelizod. It features 71 energy-efficient apartments across six blocks, offering a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, each with private balconies or terraces.

Located near Phoenix Park and the River Liffey, the development provides easy access to schools, shops, cafés, and public transport. Designed by Architects, it was built using Modern Methods of Construction to ensure durability and sustainability.

Our team completed the internal wall rendering package, delivering high-quality finishes that enhance the overall living environment.

Nearby, Tristan Square adds further housing options, reinforcing Dublin City Council’s commitment to sustainable urban development. These projects integrate modern housing with established communities, contributing to Chapelizod’s evolving residential landscape.

Bonham Court is a Dublin City Council (DCC) social housing development on Bonham Street, completed in December 2023, comprising 57 modern apartments across three blocks.

Designed by and Architects, with as structural engineers, the project was delivered by &Son Ltd using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) . This approach incorporated light gauge steel frame panels, brick cladding, and triple-glazed alu-clad windows to enhance durability and energy efficiency, with our team completing the internal dry lining package.

As one of Dublin’s first multi-storey modular construction projects, Bonham Court sets a benchmark for efficient, high-quality social housing.

Weaver Place is a Dublin City Council's social housing development on Cork Street, completed in late 2021, featuring 55 apartments across two blocks with communal courtyards. Designed by Levitt Bernstein Architects and ABK GROUP Architects, the project includes a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, all with private balconies or terraces, alongside a 60 sqm commercial space intended for a café. Reflecting the historical facades of The Liberties, the development blends modern energy-efficient housing with community-focused design. Located near schools, sports facilities, and public transport. Weaver Place provides well-connected, high-quality homes in a vibrant urban setting.

Our team had completed the dry-lining package for this development.

Progress Update – Sisk Glass Bottle Project by

January and February have been highly productive, with strong progress across all levels. Walls are closing, ceilings are progressing, and first-fix installations are well underway. External works and party wall construction are advancing, keeping us on track for key milestones. Skimming is set to begin in early March, with further works progressing as scheduled.

Our team is dedicating careful attention to every aspect of this project to ensure the highest standards of quality, as expected by our long-standing partner, &SonLtd Our responsibilities include installing partitions and ceilings, fire-stopping systems, and walls, using . render supplied by SIG Ireland.

We're maintaining momentum and remain on target for the next phases.
