It’s the right season to get things growing, but you may get the best results by holding off a little longer

Build a wee bird box. We had one last year and we got great enjoyment watching birds building nests and then carrying food to the chicks.

There are never enough holes and hideaways where wildlife can shelter, but you can help them by making a nestbox.

Seeds sown on St Patrick's day getting potted on today. A bit of light, water, soil and heat and new life begins.

Why keep old fruit tree cuttings?? This is from a plum tree and will be used for smoking food on the BBQ. Waste not folks.

We found a few oul seed pods from Lidl last year stock. Sown this morning and now we wait and see. Wee sprinkle of water now and again, bit of light and we hopefully will get a new living thing. Give it a go folks.
