The most of domestic projects in Ireland are house extensions. Whether built at the rear, side or front, they require careful planning, particularly to ensure that the new interior spaces and exterior volumes blend as harmoniously as possible with the existing house.

These are the two latest Google reviews left by a couple I had the pleasure of working with for almost a year and a half!

It was a long and profound renovation, both inside and out—not only architectural, but human too. When we make changes to our own home, we touch something with which we deeply identify.

"We could not recommend Marta highly enough. Renovating the whole house from top to bottom is incredibly stressful, but Marta made the entire process seamless. From navigating the planning permission to collaborating effortlessly with our builders and engineer to make sure they were on top of every single detail. She is always with beautiful smile and amazing imagination , just ready to make our dreams come true. All our wishes were respected and asking for any help we always got it. Working with Marta was an absolute dream. She listened to our vague ideas and transformed them into a breathtaking, functional reality that maximizes our home in something you can only dream of. She has an incredible eye for detail and solved some really tricky layout issues with pure genius. If you want an architect who brings both jaw-dropping creativity and professionalism to the table, look no further than Marta. The result is a beautiful home that we love living in every day. Lots of respect and admiration Marianna"

"Marta is amazing. Her attention to detail and her willingness to follow through to the needs of her clients is unmatched. The attention to detail and specifications is amazing. We have already reccommended her to our friends who have also used Marta's services and they were also delighted with the work. The communication is always open and Marta is always contactable when you need her. I could not reccomend her services enough. Our project was a full house rennovation with new window and door openings and a new porch built, as well as reconstruction of roofing and weight baring walls being removed."

Preliminary study for an internal renovation: An extension is often seen simply as extra volume added to a house to gain more space. However, it should be designed with the rest of the house in mind, considering the impact it will have, in order to create a harmonious and functional whole. I frequently find myself having to redesign ground floors of houses that, after a poorly planned extension, have undergone such a drastic alteration that even the original part of the house can no longer be enjoyed.

A veterinary clinic that doesn't look like a clinic! That was the client's request, and this is the result in terms of interior design—thanks also to the owners' elegant taste. But it's not just about appearances... this little gem of just 62 sqm includes 2 examination rooms, a radiology room, a surgical room, a prep area, and a room for the four-legged patients! Not to mention the welcoming reception area, accessible to everyone—just like the entire clinic, designed for full accessibility despite its compact size! Something to be very proud!
