Our open garden Fundraiser in memory of dear Harry and in aid of Breakthrough Cancer Research and Cancer Connect was an amzing event thanks to you all! The iDonate.ie will still be available until the 8th August and will be paid out directly to the above organisations.

What a gorgeous day we had today! So many wonderful people came out and showed their support for Cancer Connect and Breakthrough Cancer Research
Firstly, I would like to thank all of the volunteers who came out and helped out with everything from directing parking, handing out coffee and tea, treating people, selling raffle tickets, and much much more. We are truly grateful for everyone donating their time, and money.
Next I would also like to thank all of the businesses that donated prizes to our raffle. We got some really great prizes this year which helped sell a lot of raffle tickets.
People enjoyed wandering around the garden, enjoying the view and the plants. We had kids running around trying to find everything for the scavenger hunt, then picking out their prizes. They enjoyed the little bouncy house, and the face painting. It was really nice to hear all the chatter around the garden, see the kids running around, laughing and playing.

There will be tea and cherry, apple, blueberry, rhubarb and musli cake at the fundraiser tomorrow from 2 to 5pm.
Plus Colin will play the guitar for us and Lena will do some face painting!
