On behalf of the Coleman family and Ladysbridge Aggregates, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to the Munster Car Club, all competitors, organisers, marshals and spectators joining us for todayβs event.
Today is a particularly special and emotional occasion for our family, as we come together to honour the memory of a very special young man. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Munster Car Club for their thoughtful and generous sponsorship of the Conor Coleman Memorial Perpetual Cup, which the Coleman family are deeply honoured and proud to present today.
This perpetual cup is a fitting tribute to Conor, whose tremendous passion for all things mechanical was matched only by his love rallying! Conor also had a great love for quarrying, and it is especially meaningful that we can honour his memory in a setting that brings together two of his greatest passions β cars and quarrying.
Conor was never happier than when he was behind the wheel of something, whether it be tractors, trucks or cars.
There is absolutely no doubt that, if Conor were here today, he would be right in the middle of the action.
And while we cannot see him standing among us today, we have no doubt that his spirit is here, watching over every twist, turn and cloud of dust.

Although his absence is felt deeply, there is something very comforting in knowing that the place he loved, filled with the sound of engines and the excitement of motorsport, is playing host to an event in his memory.
The Conor Coleman Memorial Perpetual Cup is more than a trophy. It is a celebration of his life, his passions, his personality and the wonderful memories he leaves behind. It is our hope that his name will continue to be remembered and celebrated through this event for many years to come.
We would like to sincerely thank the Munster Car Club for making this occasion possible and wish every competitor a fantastic, successful and, above all, safe dayβs rallying.
