Conor Daly, Managing Director of The Forestry Company, visited Portlaoise today to attend SEEFA's bi-monthly members' meeting.
Thank you to the team for hosting us. We had great discussions and made a lot of progress.
The Forestry Company is proud to be a member of SEEFA.
SEEFA held its bi-monthly members’ meeting this week. It was a chance for members to reconnect, help set our priorities, and share feedback on the current state of the industry, including the everyday challenges faced by landowners and foresters.
Discussions included the next Forestry Programme, which will play an important role in the sector’s near future. We also covered our ongoing UCD Smurfit MBA Capstone project on the afforestation business model, and what the EU Nature Restoration Law might mean for forestry and land use.
After lunch, our Executive Committee (pictured) stayed on to talk about the association’s work and look for practical ways to move Ireland’s forestry sector forward.
