📍 Official Opening – Castlerea Rose Festival Committee Storage Unit

We were honoured to deliver this project for the Castlerea Rose Festival Committee — from green field to grand opening! 🎉

A sincere thank you to the committee and Roscommon County Council for placing their trust in us. At Colleran Construction, we take pride in delivering quality builds, on time and to spec, and this project was no exception.

From initial groundworks to steel structure, concrete finishes to final fit-out, our team worked with dedication to meet both the design vision and the programme.

1. Foundation Preparation – The site is carefully excavated and compacted to create a stable base, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
2. Rebar Installation – Steel reinforcement is placed precisely to strengthen the concrete and provide durability under load.
3. Power Float Finish – The concrete surface is finished with a power float for a smooth, professional finish that’s ready for the next phase.

Solid groundwork is where quality begins. We focus on getting everything right at ground level — drainage, levels, and prep all come first.

Getting site levels right early on is key — it affects everything from how water drains to how kerbing, paving, and landscaping will sit later in the build.

It’s not always the most glamorous part of the job, but it’s one of the most important. Early consideration means fewer problems later and a better finish overall.
