Carrick on Shannon Men's Shed has now got its own premises located on the Dublin Road next to Sean MacDiarmada Gaa Pitch.The building was kindly given to the Carrick on Shannon Men's Shed for the use of men in the Carrick area. So what is a Men's Shed? The Men's Shed is a dedicated , friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together and undertake a variety of mutually agreed activities

. It's a place where you can learn new skills, share your skills and knowledge with others or redevelop old ones and of course, have a cup of tea and enjoy a friendly chat. At present Carrick Men's Shed are starting the full renovation of the premises which consists of an old house and gardens. To do this they are relying on funds raised and the handy work of its members. To become a member and get involved in this exciting community project, to make a donation or even to just drop by to see whats going on, you can drop in.
