🚨 Signs that a tree may need professional attention
Look for:
* Large dead or broken branches.
* Cracks in the trunk or major branches.
* A tree leaning suddenly or significantly.
* Roots that are damaged or lifting the ground.
* Fungi/mushrooms growing on or around the trunk.
* Large areas of missing or damaged bark.
* Branches touching or threatening buildings or power lines.
* A tree that has become unstable after a storm.

Japanese knotweed is one of the most problematic invasive plants in Ireland, spreading rapidly through its underground rhizomes and even very small plant fragments. It can form dense growth that outcompetes native plants, reduces biodiversity and damages important habitats, particularly along rivers and waterways. Incorrect cutting, digging or movement of contaminated soil can make the infestation significantly worse and spread it to new areas. Because of this, it is extremely important to contact trained and experienced professionals who can identify the infestation, control it correctly and ensure the work is carried out responsibly and in accordance with Irish regulations.
